HOW IT WORKS

From a cold browser tab to the leaderboard. Step 5 is the only one that involves money — and it is paused today.

    6 CABINETS

    Six classic cabinets from the White House Arcade, each with its own mechanics, controls and leaderboard. Every cabinet runs in the browser — no download, no console, no account.

  2. Play free

    NO WALLET NEEDED

    No wallet is needed to play. Hit start and the run begins immediately. Nobody is charged, nothing is at stake, and the arcade never asks for a payment.

  3. Sign the session message

    MESSAGE SIGNATURE

    When you want a score on the board, connect a Solana wallet and sign a short text message. It proves the wallet is yours — no transaction, no gas, no funds move.

  4. Your score syncs to that game's board

    BEST RUN PER GAME

    The signed session lets the server record your best run for that cabinet. Only your highest score counts per game. The GLOBAL board adds up your best score in all six.

  5. Every 8h snapshot splits the fees

    TOP 25 PER GAME

    Each epoch, the pool from token trading fees splits equally across the six games; each game's slice goes pro-rata by best score to its top 25. Paused until the fee wallet is configured.

This is the part people get nervous about, so here is the difference in plain English. Signing in to $ARCADE only ever asks for a message signature.

Anti-cheat, honestly

Every score submission is tied to a signed session and checked against a per-cabinet ceiling of maxScorePerSecond × runDuration plus a small allowance. Run duration is sanity-checked, and submissions are rate-limited per wallet per game.

That blocks drive-by spam and impossible scores. It is not a replay-proof simulation of every frame, so the boards rely on people playing fair. We would rather say that out loud than pretend otherwise.

Rewards are paused

No SOL is being paid out today. The fee wallet that funds the rewards is not configured yet, so the epoch engine stays in safe mode and will not sign a transfer.

Scores are still counted and the leaderboards still move. When the engine is enabled, the first live snapshot reads the boards as they are at that time.

Do I need to pay to play?

No. All six cabinets are completely free to play. There is no entry fee, no betting, no token requirement and no hidden charge. A wallet is only needed if you want your scores saved to a leaderboard.

Do I need a wallet to play?

Not to play — the games run without one. To put a score on a leaderboard and tie it to an address, connect Phantom or Solflare and sign the session message. Nothing is submitted to a board without a signed session.

What does signing the message actually do?

It proves you control the wallet address. The server sends a challenge with a one-use nonce; your wallet signs that exact text locally; the server checks the signature and gives you a short-lived session. It is not a transaction: no gas is paid, no funds move and no token approval is granted.

When do I get paid?

Rewards are disabled until the trading-fee wallet is configured and the operator enables them. When live, the engine snapshots every 8 hours: the fee pool is split equally across the six games, then pro-rata by best score to the top 25 of each board. Nothing has been paid out yet, and no future amount is guaranteed.

Is this affiliated with the White House?

No. $ARCADE is a community-run arcade token. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The White House, any government agency, or any political organization. The name is arcade wordplay — nothing more.

What happens to my scores while rewards are paused?

They are still counted. Every signed-in run updates its game's leaderboard as usual, and ranks keep moving. No payout is calculated while the engine is paused. When rewards are enabled, the first live snapshot reads the boards as they stand at that moment — no retroactive or back-dated payouts are promised.

Can I cheat?

The server rejects impossible scores using a per-cabinet score ceiling, sanity checks on the submitted run duration, signed sessions tied to your wallet and rate limits on submissions. That stops spam and obviously fake scores; it is not a replay-proof simulation of every frame, so play fair. The leaderboard is only worth climbing if it is real.
